The Bible says after the world ends, God will create a new heaven and a new earth. Things will be different then: There will be no more death, pain, sadness, etc. And there will no longer be any curse, such as the painful curses God inflicted on humanity when Adam and Eve sinned.
God will dwell among people, so they can see his face. But wait… No one can see God’s face and live! So I guess everyone who serves at God’s throne in the new Jerusalem is going to die.
And the Bible confirms that there will indeed be people dying after the new heaven and earth are created: Rather than everyone being immortal, some people won’t even make it to a hundred. And when those people die, it will be assumed to be the result of a curse. Can it really be a curse that’s causing that death, when there’s not supposed to be any curse anymore? Well, there’s not supposed to be any death anymore either, so why not?
And the Bible confirms that there will indeed be curses still in effect after the new heaven and earth are created: Serpents will still be eating dust, which is the result of God cursing the serpent when it deceived Eve.
