The Parable of the Single-Minded Shepherd

A man had 100 sheep, but one of them wandered away. Rather than taking precautions to make sure none of the other sheep would get away too, he abandoned his flock while he looked for the missing sheep, because he cared about the lost one so much more than he cared about the other 99.

The end.

Interpretation

God likes it better when people sin and repent than when they don’t sin and don’t need to repent.

The moral of the story

If you want to please God, you have to sin.
